Delaware moved back into the thick of the CAA race as junior Paul Major scored four goals to lead the Blue Hens to a 10-7 upset victory at then-No. 6 Towson Saturday. Major scored two goals in the first quarter and one in the second as Delaware took a 6-4 lead at halftime and never trailed. His fourth goal of the day came with eight seconds left in the third quarter pushed lead to 8-4. He also had a ground ball. It was the fifth career hat trick for Major and his fourth of the season. Liam Byrnes Marquette Sr. LSM West Islip, New York Byrnes helped the Golden Eagles to its fourth Big East win of the year helping to hold Providence to seven goals, despite a second half rally by the Friars. Playing on the wing and at close defense, Byrnes caused four Friars turnovers, a league-best for the week. He also picked up three groundballs. Earlier in the week, Byrnes scooped eight ground balls, caused a pair of turnovers and chipped in an assist as Marquette nearly upset No. 1 Notre Dame before falling 8-7 in overtime Wednesday.
