Rick and Morty of Adult Swim fame have joined the Death Stranding party and can be seen discussing the game's pod baby in an advertisement. Hideo Kojima has been using celebrity likenesses to promote the upcoming since day one, using Guillermo Del Toro, Norman Reedus, and Mads Mikkelsen as characters in-game. However, in the days leading up to Death Stranding's November 8 release, Kojima has taken an unexpected turn and brought Rick and Morty of Adult Swim fame to the party. An official advertisement for the game has been posted on . The ad involves Rick and Morty acting as in-game characters. It begins with them expressing confusion about what's going on -- a feeling that echoes the years of uncertainty regarding what Death Stranding was about prior to its release. Then, Rick begins to wonder whether the baby is a power-up of some sort, and things go downhill from there.
