The Goose's popularity, both as a chart-topping console game and explosively viral meme, has now manifested as a hand-carved wood figurine. Via: Reddit 's protagonist is a terrifying creature, one whose presence usually instills automatic fear and terror in others. However, for one fearless (and talented) Reddit user, the goose is a symbol of creativity and dedication, as they now own a beautiful, handmade basswood carving of the popular goose character. Redditor u/seanpt3009 uploaded an image of his creation with the caption "I hand carved The Goose out of basswood." The picture has already amassed 1.2k comments and is currently 93% upvoted. from Comments have been overwhelmingly positive. One thread remarked on how u/seanpt3009 captured "the horrifying realism" of The Goose perfectly, with its simple, yet lifeless and devil-like, black eyes. "He is evil incarnate" another comment stated. Many have noticed that The Goose is missing his signature could use a signature red ribbon around his neck. In addition to his basswood goose, u/seanpt3009 is known on Instagram under the handle @symawoodcarving for his beautiful and intricate wood carvings of other popular creatures from video games, especially his wooden figures. The talented craftsman has carved many different Pokémon, including Eevee, Bulbasaur, Snorlax, Charmander, and of course, Pikachu. He currently sells many of his Pokémon and other wood carving creations online at his site and his Etsy shop. There is currently no word yet on whether or not The Goose will officially go on sale so other fans can get their own terrifyingly impressive basswood figurine.
