Georgia farm unveils Mark Richt corn maze NCAA.com

PRESENTED BY Most alumni show their support for their alma mater through financial donations. But, University of Georgia alumni Ryan and Meredith Rutland had a more exciting idea. Four years ago, Rutland Farms in Tifton, Ga., the family farm at which Ryan and Meredith both work, began to create corn mazes to attract visitors to the farm in conjunction with agriculture students from UGA's Tifton campus. And, as any DGD would, Ryan suggested the first maze be in the shape of a Bulldog football helmet. Three years later, and just before the Dawgs' biggest game since , the Rutlands have once again created a corny tribute to their beloved football team. 2015 CORN MAZE!!! The No. 13 Alabama Crimson Tide come to town for their first matchup with the 8th-ranked Bulldogs since UGA fell 28-32 in a SEC Championship that would decide who would play Notre Dame in the 2012 BCS National Championship Game. And, you can bet the Rutland's will be glued to the TV, if not back in Athens for the game, hoping their tribute will lend some luck to Richt and the boys in red and black.
