PRESENTED BY There are few things more enjoyable than seeing someone’s dreams come true. Well, thanks to David Shaw and the Stanford football program, we can all witness what surely was one of the greatest moments of senior walk-on Craig Jones’ life. After a recent practice, Shaw called Jones up in front of the team to break them down. And then, after Jones stood up, Shaw announced in front of the entire team that the linebacker’s days of being a walk-on were over. Stanford had decided to award Jones with a full scholarship. What followed was a truly touching scene, as the entire team mobbed Jones and celebrated his incredible accomplishment. Jones eventually did break down the team, and it’s not hard to hear in his voice how excited he was to receive the scholarship.
