PRESENTED BY College football coaches spend a lot of time in the film room. The ability to breakdown film is an essential skill needed in any coach’s professional playbook. It would be unfair to say a coach can’t have fun with the clicker – and that’s exactly what Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi did while breaking down performances during an open practice.
But the first-year head coach wasn’t breaking down the performance of running back James Conner or how Pitt’s defensive front four performed during two-a-days. Instead he talked about the guys who cover the team and how the reporters could improve their footwork. It all starts with an excellent performance by E.J. Borghetti, Pitt’s Executive Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations. Narduzzi is impressed with the way E.J. handles his daily grind.
