According to , Greenwood had been remanded in custody since Monday (October 17) after appearing at the Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court. Greenwood had been on bail since his original arrest in January but was re-arrested in Trafford on Saturday (October 15) for an alleged breach of bail conditions. The attempted rape is alleged to have taken place in October of 2021, with the controlling and coercive behavior relating to the period between November 2018 and October 2022.
