The Brazilian’s debut fight in the promotion was a preview of the talent he possesses. In July 2020, ‘Wonder Boy’ fought the much more experienced Filipino-Kiwi fighter Mark Abelardo. At this point, the Tiger Muay Thai-trained fighter had a mere five professional fights to his name, while Abelardo had 26. At on October 21, the 25-year-old Brazilian will put his win streak on the line as he looks to knock out the bantamweight king John Lineker in the main event. Both fighters are well respected for the power they have in their hands. Even without ONE gold, Fabricio Andrade already believes he is the better fighter. He spoke to ONE Championship and explained: “I believe he is an average seven [out of 10]. Most are in this average, a few manage to reach eight, nine, and 10 when we talk about striking. I believe that I’ve managed to overcome this average, and that’s why I believe I’m on another level. Not that Lineker has bad striking, but he’s average, and I’m above average." 'Hands of Stone' has heard every word the challenger has said and says he does not care. Lineker told ONE Championship: “None of that bothers me. I take it all in my stride. I think talking is nonsense, we have to resolve it inside the circle.
