The Usman-Edwards series of fights is tied at one win apiece. Usman beat 'Rocky' via unanimous decision in 2015. Edwards avenged that loss by stopping 'The Nigerian Nightmare' via fifth-round KO for the championship this August. In his latest interview with MMA Fighting's Mike Heck, Jorge Masvidal claimed that how the Usman-Edwards rematch would play out. Earlier this year, the 37-year-old had opined that Usman was the more well-rounded fighter and would likely beat Edwards, whilst acknowledging that 'Rocky' was more polished on the feet. And I said, 'This is what's going to happen. But if Leon wins, it's by this.'" Masvidal added: "And literally, it happens. And the way that I said it in the interviews, it's like, God told it to me in my dream. So, what does that mean that hopefully, I'm kicking Leon's a** soon, and then I can get back in front of Usman.
