VIDEO Francis Ngannou reminisces box jumping skills from pre-surgery days

The UFC heavyweight champion recently reposted an old video of himself doing box jumps with the caption: "Damn it I used to jump high " Watch Francis Ngannou's video below: Ngannou covers a substantial amount of height in the video, which apparently he cannot anymore ever since the knee injury and subsequent surgery. The video was originally posted by 'The Predator' after the KO victory over Stipe Miocic in March to repair a torn ACL and MCL. Prior to his surgery, Ngannou's manager, Marquel Martin, had pinned down the recovery time to approximately '9 or 10 months'. Ngannou's surgery was performed by renowned orthopedist Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who has treated several high-profile athletes. Dr. ElAttrache was one of the surgeons who worked on Conor McGregor after the Irishman's brutal injury against Dustin Poirier last year.

Ngannou recently revealed that his contract negotiations with the UFC remain at a stalemate as he is yet to be contacted by the promotion. 'The Predator' said on the SiriusXM Podcast: “My contract status right now is still the same. I haven’t received any offer, so it’s still the same. I hope in like the next three months, two to three months, we can deal with that, to solve that. It’s no surprise to me. I think we are not in a rush. I’m not in a rush either. I mean, I’m not going anywhere, so I’m not rushing.
