Charles Oliveira s poor vision would ve given him trouble against Conor McGregor s precise striking says Sean O Malley s coach

Tim Welch weighs in on Charles Oliveira vs. Conor McGregor [Image credits: @charlesdobronxs on Instagram] Sean O'Malley's coach Tim Welch has weighed in on a potential showdown between and Irish superstar . Welch believes that 'do Bronx' could face serious problems due to his poor eyesight against the Irishman: "It's insane with Charles... the fact that he says how bad his vision is and he goes in there. That's what makes me think, if the match did happen with Conor, f**k, you never know because Conor's so pin-point with his strikes." Watch a clip of Welch speaking about Oliveira and McGregor below: Oliveira has gone on record to say that without his glasses, his eyesight is only . The Brazilian also said that due to his poor vision, he sees three opponents instead of one inside the octagon: "So I see three. If I'm hitting the middle one, it's all right. I think, 'Keep this same technique.' Three guys for me is perfect. If I'm hitting the middle one, it's alright. I'll tell you the truth, I'm a guy who has a lot of faith in God and it's no joke. If I take off my glasses, I can only see 50 per cent, but it never hindered me in the fight... Sometimes I like to walk in with the glasses to look harmless and more nerdy than I already am." Check out the full interview with Oliveira below: There is a claiming that Oliveira has gotten his eyes fixed but there has been no official confirmation regarding the same.

Charles Oliveira will look to re-gain title at UFC 280

Charles Oliveira had his UFC lightweight title taken away at UFC 274 after the Brazilian missed weight by half-a-pound. Now, 'do Bronx' will be looking to re-claim his place on the lightweight throne at UFC 280. But it will not be a cakewalk for Charles Oliveira as he will compete against Islam Makhahcev, who is currently riding a 10-fight win streak in the UFC. If the Brazilian emerges victorious at UFC 280, there will be a strong argument for him being the greatest lightweight fighter of all time. Michael Bisping believes so too. In a recent video, 'The Count' said that with a win over Makhachev, Oliveira would surpass Khabib Nurmagomedov to become the 'GLOAT' (Greatest Lightweight of All Time).
