Charles Oliveira vows to shock the world at UFC 280

The build-up to the UFC 280 main event has fleshed out a rivalry between the two opposing camps of Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev. Despite being a former champion, 'Do Bronx' has been billed as the underdog against Makhachev. Oliveira has also cited favoritism, with the venue being more of a second home for Makhachev and his team owing to their popular following in the Middle East. In an interview with ESPN, Oliveira to prove all of his doubters wrong: “I’m going to shock the world yet again. Well, opinions are subjective and some people believe that I would be a potential winner, he [Makhachev] would be a potential winner. But I’m gonna show that my history, my background, the number of fights I’ve had, my contenders, these will come to show on that very night.
