Congratulations to Global champions, Giorgio Calcaterra and Kaori Yoshida! - Sportskeeda (@Sportskeeda) The winners at the Wings for Life World Run - India, were Kiranjit Kaur among the women, who completed 39.2 kilometres, and Titus Kariuki Wanderi Githu among the men, who covered 54.2 kilometres! Japan's Kaori Yoshida won the Global Female World Run title, covering a record-shattering 65.71 kilometres! Brilliant 2nd place for Bartoks Olszewski (POL) with over 82k - WFL World Run (@WFLWorldRun) Great 3rd place for Francisco Morales (CHI) with over 75 k - WFL World Run (@WFLWorldRun) Both Calcaterra and Olszewski broke the 80 kilometre mark, something which had not been done before. Chilean Francisco Morales finished third, having run over 75 kilometres! Bartoks Olszewski of Poland took the global 2nd place, finishing with a total distance covered of over 82 kilometres! The Wings for Life World Run 2016 came to a brilliant close earlier this evening, with Italy's Giorgio Calcaterra crowned the Global Champion, having run an unreal 88 kilometres before the Catcher Car caught up with him!
