They are not afraid to take risks - Buchecha reveals what makes Kade and Tye Ruotolo so special

Marcus Buchecha (left), Kade Ruotolo (right in white) and Tye Ruotolo (right in black) has opened up about how special Kade and are. The Ruotolo brothers, both 19 years old, have taken over the submission grappling world. Their platform will continue skyrocketing now that has added grappling world titles. Buchecha has transitioned to MMA, but his legacy in jiu-jitsu will last an eternity. The IBJJF Hall of Fame inductee was asked about what makes the Ruotolo brothers unique, he opened up by saying: “Both Kade and Tye. Their difference is that they are not afraid to take risks. They are not afraid of falling into a bad position. That's what makes them the fighters that they are, that everyone wants to watch. People know it's going to be a show, it's not going to be a fight with that fighter who's afraid to take a risk, afraid to give up a position or afraid of falling short.” He added: “The kids put on a show playing over, playing under, even when they are in a bad position they can apply the buggy choke in any situation. It's amazing to see them fighting. Kade in this ADCC got four submissions in four fights. He was the only champion who managed to submit everyone.” Kade is looking to cap off an unbelievable 2020 by becoming the ONE lightweight grappling world champion on October 21. He also dominated the ADCC championship earlier this year, becoming the youngest champion in tournament history. Meanwhile, it’s only a matter of time before Tye competes for ONE gold.
