New Orleans Pelicans vs. Brooklyn Nets. The had a 130-108 blowout victory against the Brooklyn Nets. It was a battle between the opposing big threes. The Pelicans have , and , while the Nets have Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Most oddsmakers had the Nets as the favorites for the game. However, the Pelicans proved to be the better team. Zion Williamson took charge in the first quarter itself. He played bully ball in the paint and had 8 points and 3 steals to start the game. Williamson was all smiles as he dominated the opposition. Fans could tell that he loved being back on the court. The Pelicans finished the quarter with a commanding 32-14 lead. The Brooklyn Nets showed signs of life in the second quarter thanks to Kevin Durant. He scored 15 points in the quarter and converted four out of seven shots. He had two blocks as well. Nic Claxton played a great second fiddle with nine points and two blocks. The Nets went into the halftime break down 58-50. In the third quarter, the New Orleans Pelicans solidified their lead with a 40-28 run. Ingram and Williamson proved unstoppable. Williamson in particular kept dominating the paint.
