Main card predictions for UFC Fight Night Kattar vs Allen

Dustin Jacoby vs. Khalil Rountree Dustin Jacoby is riding a nine-fight unbeaten streak (1 NC) in this fight with a first-round KO of Da Un Jung being his latest triumph. Khalil Rountree has been on a rollercoaster of a career of late, going 3-3 in his last six bouts. 'The War Horse' is coming of back-to-back stoppage wins to rebound from two straight losses. However, Jacoby is a betting favorite in this one and is in much better form. 'The Hanyak' is expected to stretch his unbeaten run to 10 next Saturday. Verdict: Dustin Jacoby Josh Fremd vs. Tresean Gore This is a battle between two fighters searching for their first win in the promotion. Josh Fremd made his promotional debut in April, suffering a decision loss against Anthony Hernandez. Meanwhile, Tresean Gore is 0-2 under the promotional banner and was brutally knocked out by Cody Brundage in the first round in July. While both fighters are relative newcomers, Fremd is more experienced and has finished seven of his nine wins. That said, we'll go with the betting favorite in this one. Verdict: Josh Fremd Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Jared Vanderaa Waldo Cortes-Acosta earned his UFC contract with a stunning first-round TKO of Danilo Suzart during Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) 2022: Week 2 in August. The undefeated fighter will now put his 7-0 record on the line against a man whose UFC career has been a train wreck. Jared Vanderaa is coming off four straight losses and is 1-5 under the UFC banner. 'The Mountain' was finished in four of those defeats and be will be desperately searching for a win this Saturday. However, Cortes-Acosta is expected to continue his undefeated run. Verdict: Waldo Cortes-Acosta Tim Means vs. Max Griffin is coming off a submission loss to Kevin Holland in June. Prior to that defeat, 'The Dirty Bird' won three consecutive bouts, all via decision. , on the other hand, is fresh off a close decision loss to Neil Magny in March. 'Pain' was also on a three-fight win streak prior to that loss, where he finished two of those three fights. While both men had their three-fight win streak snapped in their last fights, Griffin has certainly looked more impressive and is expected to get back into the win column next Saturday. Verdict: Max Griffin Calvin Kattar vs. Arnold Allen Calvin Kattar picked up a lopsided unanimous decision win over a highly-touted in January, but ended up on the wrong side of a split decision loss against in June. Kattar will now aim to get back on track when he takes on a streaking opponent. His opponent, Arnold Allen, is riding an impressive 11-fight win streak and is unbeaten inside the UFC octagon. The Brit's most recent win came over Dan Hooker via first-round TKO in March. While Allen has a more impressive record, 'The Boston Finisher' is a more battle-tested and proven fighter at the highest levels. This fight is tough to call, but we'll go with Kattar on this one for his experience and more diverse skillset. Verdict: Calvin Kattar Poll : 0 votes Quick Links More from Sportskeeda Thank You!
