Without Eduard Folayang leading the way for men’s MMA in the Philippines, Stephen Loman wouldn’t have had the courage to pursue his dreams in mixed martial arts. Loman admitted to watching the 38-year-old veteran make headways in the MMA world long before he earned two world titles under ONE Championship. As a kid, Loman recalled how Eduard dominated the regional scene when he was competing under the Philippines promotion URCC and Martial Combat. Hoping to follow in Folayang’s footsteps, Stephen Loman is certain that if he puts his mind to it, he’ll become a world champion as well: “His achievements really motivate me. Seeing that he’s done all those things makes me feel like I can do it too.
