Anderson Silva recently addressed his claims that his sparring partner knocked him out during practice. In an interview with MacLife, the former middleweight champion clarified that he was only joking about getting knocked out to promote his partners. 'The Spider' said: "Let me tell you something very important, when I talking about the guys doing the hard sparring and take me knockout, it's just joking, because I train with the young kids. And the guy ask me and I don't put nothing bad in my mind. The guy say, 'Oh, Anderson take knockout in the training.' Of course not. But I just like to help to putting my partners up."
