The two bantamweight juggernauts will clash for the number one spot in the division. It’s an exciting opportunity for Stephen Loman, who is still in the early stages of his tenure under the ONE banner. Discussing the bout with ONE Championship, ‘The Sniper’ shared his excitement to test his skills against one of the best bantamweights in the world: “In the past, I thought I was going to be matched up with him, but that didn’t happen. So for sure, my excitement for that match is still there. Stephen Loman anticipates a world title fight with a win over Bibiano Fernandes

As an 11-time bantamweight world champion, Bibiano Fernandes knows what it takes to fight under pressure. For Stephen Loman, this will be his first true test inside the circle, but the budding bantamweight star is more than ready to seize the opportunity he has been given against ‘The Flash’ before moving on to a world title showdown: “This is my chance to focus on fighting him and defeating him because he’s the No.1-ranked [contender]. And if I beat him, I will have the chance to fight for the title.” Who the champion will be at that time is a question on everyone’s mind following the results of ONE on Prime Video 3. After failing to meet the bantamweight weight limit, ‘Hands of Stone’ found himself stripped of the world title, leaving only his challenger Fabricio Andrade eligible.
