The Brazilian made an impressive debut, submitting Maia Kahaunaele with a first-round rear-naked choke. However, she went on to lose three subsequent bouts. In her last outing, Viana dropped a unanimous decision loss to Tabatha Ricci. Frey has also struggled for consistency since making her promotional debut. After a 0-2 start to her UFC career, the American picked up two consecutive victories. However, the 37-year-old suffered a split decision defeat against Vanessa Demopoulos last time out in June. The upcoming bout will be a pivotal matchup for both women, who will be determined to get back into the win column. UFC Vegas 64 will take place at the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
