5 ways Fortnite let down its fans

Players miss these two guns (Image via FortniteBR on Twitter) Fortnite is a great game that has developed a strong community over the years. The game has been one of the best to come out in the last few years and quickly shot to stardom. It redefined an entire genre of gaming and forced it to the center of the industry. It might be one of the most revolutionary video games of all time. However, it's far from perfect. Glitches pop up all the time, though that's not the fault of Epic Games. Their fault is the for the game. They often push the right buttons, but they're known to miss the mark entirely from time to time. When Epic Games completely disappointed the Fortnite community

5 Moving on from the original map

Lonely Lodge, an old location (Image via Epic Games) The original map was so good that players still want to play on it, even in Chapter 3. wanted to move the game forward and keep things fresh and ever-changing, so the map underwent massive changes in Chapter 2 and again in Chapter 3. However, the original map will always be the best. The Chapter 3 map has a lot of landmarks and POIs from Chapter 1, like the volcano, Shifty Shafts and more. It still isn't the same. Epic Games could have kept mostly the same, or at least with the same general layout. They decided to change it to keep things interesting. Who knows what it would have been like if they hadn't, but it does seem like the Fortnite community would rather have the old map.

4 Limiting refund tickets

Refund tickets make sense, but the fact that there are only three available for a lifetime of play is not a good idea. There does need to be a limit, but it's unreasonable to assume that Fortnite gamers will only have three mistaken purchases over their lives. For instance, sometimes they want to spend their V-Bucks on something, but they can't because they spent it earlier on something else.

3 Vaulting the pump

should pump come back? should pump come back? Epic Games frequently. This is to keep the loot pool interesting and often fits the dynamic of a given season. They vaulted the pump shotgun, which was widely considered the best gun in the entire game. They haven't returned to the game and it's unclear if they ever will. Unfortunately, that's a sore spot for a ton of Fortnite players.

2 Changing vending machines

Vending machines used to be more useful earlier. Instead of gold bars, players can spend an amount of each material on one weapon. The vending machines would either be for Rare, Epic or Legendary weapons. Gold bars are good, but since they're used for so many different parts of the game, vending machines get overlooked.

1 Vaulting the SCAR

SCAR was probably the best and most iconic gun in the entire game. It was in the game for so long that it was a surprise to see it gone in Chapter 3 Season 1. players miss this weapon and it's disheartening to know it's been gone for four seasons now with no return in sight. This was an oversight by Epic and it needs to be fixed soon. Poll : 0 votes Quick Links More from Sportskeeda Thank You!
