PRESENTED BY OXFORD, Miss. -- Andrew Ely's two-run homer helped lead Washington to a 4-2 victory against Georgia Tech on Sunday in the NCAA tournament's Oxford regional. Washington (40-16-1) will play Mississippi on Monday for the regional championship. The Huskies must beat the Rebels twice to advance to the Super Regionals. Washington starter Jared Fisher struggled with his command early, walking in two runs in the first inning. But Ely's homer in the third tied the game at 2 and the Huskies tacked on two more runs in the sixth. Reliever Brandon Choate (4-1) earned the win for Washington, and Trevor Dunlap worked four scoreless innings to earn his sixth save. Braden Bishop had two hits. Matthew Grimes (5-3) took the loss, giving up all four runs. The loss eliminated Georgia Tech (37-26) from the tournament.
