Imperium defeat Riddle & Thatcher to win the NXT Tag Team Titles Well... that was a pretty decent episode. The "big announcement" wasn't really anything spectacular though, as a 40-something, the nostalgia for the In Your House PPVs is a little appealing for me. But, let's get the match results..... And the show ends with Thatcher holding Riddle in that armbar. Riddle is in agony! Thatcher goes nuts and attacks Riddle after the bell! Thatcher has Riddle in a leglock, but Riddle rolls him up and GETS THE PIN!
RESULT: Matt Riddle defeats Timothy Thatcher Thatcher gets the Fujiwara Armbar on Riddle! Riddle gets out and we get a series of some pretty badass chain wrestling. RIDDLE WITH A GO TO SLEEP! NICE! How ' tone has changed.
The is all business as he prepares to collide with his former tag team partner RIGHT NOW on ! - WWE (@WWE) After the break, we see that Thatcher was basically trying to rip Riddle's leg off his body. Which is probably a good strategy, really. The Championship Tournament continues next week as takes on AND battles !
