Thatcher manages to lock in the RNC, eventually putting Riddle to sleep. Riddle escapes a Butterfly Suplex off the top and rocks Thatcher with a ripcord knee. Thatcher lands on the ring below and is met with a Broton from the top rope. Riddle gets locked in an ankle lock while hanging off the cage. He escapes but misses a Broton, and Thatcher follows up with a suplex. Riddle escapes and the two men eventually find themselves at the top of the cage, where Riddle pelts Thatcher with a series of roundhouses to the face. Thatcher catches Riddle going for another springboard kick and turns it into an armbar attempt. Back to their feet, Thatcher repeatedly dumps Riddle on his head before locking in a single leg Boston Crab.
