Very little is known about Ichi’s past and childhood, as his heritage is still shrouded in mystery. Due to his limited appearances in the series, close to nothing is known about his lineage or background, other than the fact that he was one of Hiruko’s three followers.
Hiruko dispatched Ichi to prevent any obstruction to Kakashi Hatake's arrival. Ichi next faced Team Guy but lost to a combo attack from Rock Lee and Neji Hyuga. San, who was consumed along with Ni to become a huge chimera beast, called him while he was unconscious. The Konoha 11 fought the beast and managed to contain it, with the exception of Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno. The chimera beast was later summoned by Hiruko. When they all came together once more, the Konoha 11 killed him by combining their numerous attacks to destroy it.
Due to his lack of appearances in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Ichi’s personality. Based on his limited appearance, it can be deduced that Ichi is extremely overconfident and arrogant. He has a tendency to exaggerate his prowess. During combat, he would belittle and make fun of his foes. Like his colleagues, he wouldn't think twice about combining with others via the Chimera Technique, even if it meant warping his own body.
Ichi had brown hair and light-colored eyes. He was a tall, lean man. Ichi wore his cloak on the right side of his shoulder and the straps come down from the left shoulder. He also had one violet-colored rectangular mark on his forehead and his bangs were on the left side of his head. The mark on Hiruko's left palm and the one on his back were identical.
The Chimera Technique allowed him to use double-headed snakes in battle as well. Ichi was able to build nets, fire powerful missiles, employ the Summoning Technique, and summon said snakes.
It was seen that Ichi's chakra reserves were greater than average. He was also remarkably tough, surviving the combined Front Lotus and Revolving Heaven techniques of Neji and Rock Lee.

Apart from the movie, Ichi also appears in the light novel based on the movie with the same title, “Naruto the Movie: Will of Fire.”
