So, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Sanjeev Rajput both fail to qualify for the finals of 50m 3 position rifle shooting. That will be the end of India's shooting medal hopes at Tokyo 2020.

Pratap Singh was off to a brilliant start, securing a second position after acing a 397 in kneeling round. His rank went down significantly in the prone round where he scored 391. He was placed at 15th position after 2 rounds which never allowed him to come back as a demoralized Pratap Singh Tomar could only score 379 in the final round. He finished with a score of 1167/1200 and secured the 21st position.

Sanjeev Rajput, on the other hand, was never in the game. He scored 387 in the first round and pushed himself down to 25th. The prone round saw him score 393 but he was way behind in the rankings. The 40-year-old could only score 367 in the standing round to finish off his tally at 1157 while occupying the 32nd position. Sanjeev Rajput - Series 4 (Standing) Sanjeev hits a 9 and a 10 in his last two shots and is placed 32nd after Series 4. He hits another 10 and follows it with a couple of 9's. Sanjeev Rajput - Series 4 (Prone) After 2 rounds, Aishwary Tomar Singh is 16th with 788/800 while Sanjeev Rajput is 24th 780/800.
