The legendary has dethroned to become the NEW at ! - WWE NXT (@WWENXT) Kross sends Joe into the turnbuckle chest first and lands the forearm to the back of the head. He winds up for another but Joe counters. Kross goes to the top but Joe hits the enzuguri and a muscle buster for the win.
Result - Samoa Joe defeats Karrion Kross to become new NXT Champion. Joe lands a few moves, capped off with a Senton for a near fall. He lands a Senton to Kross' back before locking in his chokehold. The men fall to the mat. Kross counters out into an armbar and transitions into his choke hold. it looks like Joe is out but he "Hogans Up." Kross gets two close falls. Joe gets control and lands a belly-to-belly suplex but is winded. The SAMOAN SUBMISSION MACHINE! - WWE NXT (@WWENXT) Kross lands another Saito for a quick fall. He transitions into an ankle lock. Joe gets up and counters, pushing Kross out of the ring. Joe lands a suicide forearm to knock both men out of commission. Kross throws Joe into the ringside barricade before putting him back into the ring with a smile on his face. Joe locks in his submission quickly but Kross gets to the ropes. He lands a Doomsday Saito and a forearm to the back of Joe's neck, knocking him out of the ring. Joe gets some shots in early on before Kross grabs Joe and throws him into the corner. KOR stops his escape and they exchange strikes on the top rope. KOR falls onto the ropes crotch-first and Cole hits a Panama Sunrise off the ropes for a two count. Cole tosses KOR into the steel early on before Kyle slingshots Cole into the steel. He hits the knee off the top to the back of Cole's head. He climbs to the top again and misses on another knee. Cole goes for a Shining Wizard but misses. KOR lands his own Shining Wizard for a two count. . - 1️⃣

Bring on the ! - WWE (@WWE) Cole drags KOR back into the ring so that the cage can descend completely. EMTs come out to check on KOR before the cage can descend. Cole doesn't wait for it to land and he attacks KOR, including a powerbomb on the edge of the announce table. KOR goes for a suplex onto the steel steps but Cole counters and lands a suplex onto the mats. Cole sets up chairs in the ring back to back, he goes for a suplex but KOR counters. He lays Cole's head on both chairs before going to the top. Cole tosses him off the top onto both chairs. Cole hits the Last Shot for the win in the second fall.
Second Fall Result - Adam Cole defeats Kyle O'Reilly by pin. Cole walks up the entrance ramp and KOR follows. KOR locks in a Guillotine Choke on the ramp and knees Cole in the chest. He throws Cole into the barrier and off of the ramp. - WWE (@WWE) Both men go outside and grab chains to put around their hands. They exchange strikes before Cole superkicks KOR for a near fall. KOR and Cole try to match the striking output from the WALLY/Ilya match but it doesn't last very long. Cole kicks KOR in the face but KOR goes to the ropes for a move of his own. It hurts his ribs but he lands a knee to Cole's face. He then drops Cole onto the chair knee first before Cole sends him into the aforementioned chair set up between the ropes. The two trade kicks and knock each other down with simultaneous kicks to the faces. Cole gets a Kendo stick and hits KOR with it, he lands a backstabber and then locks in the Lockjaw sub from his girlfriend Britt Baker. Cole then pounds on KOR's head. Cole picks up a chair and decks KOR in the ribs with it. He then sets a chair up in the corner between the ropes. Cole throws KOR into the corner with the chair, but KOR tries to avoid it and hits his ribs on the ring post while falling outside the ring. KOR goes to the top to attempt a move but Cole kicks him off, knocking KOR to the outside. O'Reilly clenches his ribs or arm in pain. Cole comes out and shoves him rib first into the announce table. He tosses KOR back into the ring. AND JUST LIKE THAT! picks up a quick first fall in the straight-up match! Bring on the STREET FIGHT!!! - WWE (@WWE) The second fall goes outside of the ring and Cole hits KOR with a chair. He sets the chair up to suplex KOR on it but KOR sits Cole down on it instead. KOR puts a trash can on Cole's head and lands a dropkick off the apron. Each man has his moments until Cole hits a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Cole lands a Superkick and then KOR lands a spinning clothesline for a near fall. KOR goes to the top for a flying knee drop but Cole superkicks him. Cole goes for the Panama Sunrise but KOR counters it into a pin for the first fall.
