UFC Hall of Fame 2022

The Hall of Fame is a hall of fame which honors a notable list of mixed martial artists and personalities who have had an overall influence on the sport of throughout the years. The UFC Hall of Fame mostly recognizes fighters who have established themselves as notable personalities for the promotion. However, in addition to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the UFC Hall of Fame also acknowledges fighters who have competed for various promotions such as Pride Fighting Championships, World Extreme Cagefighting, and Strikeforce, considering that all the three promotions have been bought by the UFC.

UFC Hall of Fame and its wings

The UFC Hall of Fame was initially established in Las Vegas on November 21, 2003, at the UFC 45 pay-per-view and the first inductees to the UFC Hall of Fame were UFC Originals Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock.
The UFC Hall of Fame currently consists of three different wings including the Pioneer wing, Modern-era wing, and the Contributors wing.
The UFC Pioneer wing consists of the notable fighters such as the likes of Dan Severn, Randy Couture, Matt Hughes, and the latest inductee being Rich Franklin (July 5, 2019).
The UFC Modern-era Wing consists of the likes of Forrest Griffin, B.J. Penn, Ronda Rousey, Michael Bisping, and Rashad Evans, who as of this writing is the latest fighter to be inducted into the UFC Modern-era.
