ABOUT LATEST NEWS ABOUT The Cleveland Cavaliers are an American Basketball team competing in the Eastern Conference Central Division of the NBA. The Cavs, as Cavaliers are often called, were founded in 1970 and play their home games in Quicken Loans Arena, Ohio.
Cavaliers' first playoff appearance was in 1976, wherein they won their first Division title. During the late eighties and nineties, Cavs were regular playoff contenders, without really threatening to win the Conference title or NBA Championship. Cavs drafted in 2003 Draft and started building their team around the once-in-a-generation player. Success followed soon after as Cavs won their first Conference title in 2007. After not succeeding to reach the Finals in the next three seasons, LeBron James moved to in 2010. In 2010-11, Cavs went on a 26-game losing streak, which is the longest single season losing streak in the history of NBA. Cavaliers drafted in 2011 and LeBron returned to Cleveland in 2014. Cavs won the conference title 4 times in a row from 2015 to 2018 and were crowned NBA Champions in 2016, the first in their history. Kyrie Irving left Cavs for in 2017 and LeBron joined in 2018.
