Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone is an American mixed martial artist who is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship and competes for the promotion’s Lightweight Division. In 2010, Cerrone became a part of the UFC roster after World Extreme Cagefighting merged with Dana White’s promotion, and all WEC fighters were transferred over to the . At UFC 126, Cerrone made his promotional debut as he defeated Paul Kelly via a rear-naked choke submission.
In November of 2018, Cerrone surpassed Georges St-Pierre and Michael Bisping for the most wins in UFC history with 21 and simultaneously, also surpassed Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort for most finishes in UFC history with 15.
In his first run with the UFC in 2010, Donald Cowboy Cerrone faced the likes of Dennis Siver, , Anthony Pettis, Rafael dos Anjos, and Edson Barboza among notable Lightweight fighters.
