br Marina Shafir began her combat sports journey at 5-years of age as a Judoka. She started competing by age 12 but stopped competing in her late teens. br Shafir began her MMA training in her 20s and made her amateur debut in 2012 at Premier FC 9 against Denise Goddard. She won the fight using her Judoka skills and submitted Goddard via armbar inside the first minute. Shafir continued her winning ways and won her next 4-amateur fights in the first round via submission. She turned professional in 2014. br Marina made her professional debut at LOP 4 against Chandra Engel. She won the fight via first-round armbar submission and next fought Amanda Bell at LOP 5. Shafir lost a fight for the first time as Amanda knocked her inside the first minute via punches. br Following this fight, Shafir joined Invicta FC in 2015. She made her Invicta debut at Invicta FC 13 against Amber Leibrock and lost the fight via first-round KO. Shafir alongside Jessamyn Duke made her WWE debut at WWE Evolution as Shayna Baszelrs' henchwoman and helped her win the WWE NXT Women's Championship Match against Kairi Sane. br She made her in-ring debut at the December 19, episode of in a tag-team match with Jessamyn Duke against Io Shirai and Dakota Kai. Shafir remained mostly inactive during her time in WWE and got released from her contract in June 2021. br She has since started working in the independent professional wrestling circuit. br
