br Tim Welch started his professional journey in 2009 at CageSport 7 against William Hunt. He won the fight in the second round via submission(punches) but lost his next bout against Derek Boyle at RITR 13 via third-round KO(kick). br Tim won his next 2-fights at CageSport against Dennis Parks and Jose Rico. He next fought at Playboy Fight Night 5 against Derek Boyle in a rematch. Just like the first bout, Welch came up short in the fight as he lost via split decision. br Welch bounced back from the Boyle defeat and won on a 3-fight win streak before fighting Eddy Ellis at CageSport 14. Tim got out grappled in the fight and got submitted in the first round via rear-naked choke submission. br Tim again went on a 3-fight win streak before debuting at Bellator 74 against Michail Tsarev. Welch lost to Tsarev in the second round via submission(rear-naked choke). He next defeated Eric Regan at ICF: Fight Night 1 before fighting at Bellator 113 against Derek Campos.
