But Xhaka has enjoyed a revival of sorts under Mikel Arteta and it has never been as apparent as it has been this season. Deployed in a more advanced role, he seems to have sprung to life and established himself as a key player in the team. In 18 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal so far this season, Xhaka has scored four goals and provided three assists.

#2 Neymar Paris Saint-Germain

SL Benfica v Paris Saint-Germain: Group H - UEFA Champions League missed a good chunk of the 2021-22 season due to injury. Upon his return, he did produce flashes of brilliance, but he did not exactly hit the heights he was expected to. His playmaking has been world-class and he has been weaving his way past players regularly courtesy of his silky dribbling skills.
