The cricket teams of Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands will be a part of a tri-series in Ireland which will be played from 15 September 2019 to 20 September 2019. The Irish team will be hosting the tournament and all the matches will be in the T20 International match format.

The Ireland tri-nation series has replaced the Euro T20 Slam which was scheduled to be played among the three aforementioned nations before the commencement of the 2019-20 . However, Ireland and the Netherlands will also play each other yet again before the World Cup qualifier in the , which is to begin from 5 October 2019, alsong with the Asian Associate nations of ICC. The Ireland Tri Series is going to be the last series for most of the European nations participating in the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, hence the teams are looking at it as their final chance to test their preparations. While both Ireland and the Netherlands have a second chance before the Qualifier, Scotland has only this series to make changes into its squad or strategy before the World Cup Qualifier.
