To ensure that bilateral cricket matches are relevant in the modern era, ICC introduced the Cricket World Cup Super League two years ago. In this tournament, 13 teams play eight series of three matches each. Four series take place in home conditions, while the other four happen overseas. The upcoming series is a home series for Zimbabwe and an away one for India.
