And one by a pretty handsome margin at that to help their net run rate and so, Babar Azam and Co. live to see another day at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. He had another tough outing, as did Mohammad Rizwan, but it was a breathtaking partnership between Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed that powered them along to a mammoth 185.
Quinton de Kock swung like a rusty gate and perished without troubling the scorers. Rilee Rossouw couldn't do much either but skipper Temba Bavuma came out seeing it like a beachball and smacked it all around the park. And Zimbabwe, as we all know, beat Pakistan. Oh this group has thrown surprises and thrills aplenty, hasn't it? And we're set for a blockbuster finish to it on Sunday when each of these teams will be in action - South Africa will play the Netherlands and Pakistan will then take on Bangladesh. Both games will take place at the Adelaide Oval, before the action rounds off at the MCG as India take on Zimbabwe. We are yet to see a semifinalist confirmed from either group - dare we say this has been the most competitive and exciting Men's T20 World Cup till date? Babar Azam (Pakistan Captain): Very happy with the way the team performed. The way Haris played differently shifted the momentum to our side. The way Ifti and Shadab played was outstanding. (Best balance now?) I think everyone is my best player. When we decide which XI is the best, everyone is ready and everyone is a match-winner for me. The first two matches, we lost close. But the way the team has been playing in the last two matches we've given our 100 percent. We just want to take it match by match. Cricket is a funny game, things change quickly.
