Gummies sold under the well-known brand names may contain metal

Courtesy Mars: Skittles, LifeSavers, Starburst A variety of Skittles, Starburst and Life Savers gummies were recalled because there may be thin metal strands on the candy or loose in the bag. Mars Wrigley Confectionery US issued the voluntary recall, announced via the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, after it received complaints from consumers about the issue. To date, there have not been any reports of illness or injury from eating the recalled candy.
