AREAS OF EXPERTISE Public health, long-term services and supports, medicaid, and health disparities. ABOUT Edem Hado is a Senior Policy and Research Manager at the AARP Public Policy Institute, where she drives development of innovative policy solutions that address the growing long-term care needs of older adults and their family members. Part of that work involves conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of long-term care and Medicaid policies, both current and proposed. Before joining AARP, Hado worked with home care agencies that were developing a technology platform to help caregivers more easily manage their duties and diverse roles. In addition, in a practicum at MassHealth’s Office of Long-Term Services and Supports, Hado worked on a quality measurement project evaluating beneficiary experience of care in the MassHealth Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Program.In addition, Hado contributed to the edited volume, “” and serves as vice president of the Harvard T.H.
