ABOUT James McSpadden is a senior policy advisor at the AARP Public Policy Institute, where his work focuses on prescription drug coverage, access, and utilization issues as well as prescription drug pricing and private health insurance. Before joining AARP, McSpadden spent six years with AARP’s government affairs team and supported AARP state offices as they advocated for health policy changes on a wide variety of health issues, including prescription drug reform.
