OK Voters 50 Strongly Support a Family Caregiver Tax Credit

More than one in four (42%) voters in Oklahoma 50 and older have experience as a family caregiver, with 13% currently providing unpaid care to an adult loved one. And one in four (41%) of these caregivers are caring for someone suffering from Alzheimer's, dementia, or other forms of mental confusion, while 20% are caring for someone who has served in the US Armed Forces. Nearly half of these caregivers who are currently providing care have spent money to purchase medical equipment or to make modifications to their home or their loved one's home.
