Getty Images Contaminated onions have been identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as the likely cause of a salmonella outbreak that has infected 1.012 people across 47 states since June 19, resulting in widespread recalls. (.) Here's a list of grocery stores that have stocked recalled onions as well as prepared foods made with onions. If you suspect that you purchased a recalled product, click on the retailer's name to be directed to more information. All affected onions and prepared foods should be discarded or returned to the store where purchased for a full refund (unless otherwise indicated).

Products: Red, white, sweet and yellow onions supplied by Onions 52 Locations: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. (Sweet onions are only affected in Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas.)
