The Judges

Lisa Marsh Ryerson Lisa Marsh Ryerson is president of AARP Foundation, the affiliated charity of AARP. At the helm since the fall of 2013, she sets the Foundation’s strategic direction and leads its social impact initiatives. She is also a member of AARP’s Executive Leadership Team, which directs the nation’s largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working on behalf of the 50+ population. Under her leadership, the Foundation has embarked on new relationships with high-profile organizations to serve older adults struggling with poverty and the related issues of unemployment, insufficient food, inadequate housing and social isolation. Brittany Davis Brittany Davis is currently the New Ventures Manager at Village Capital. She leads the sourcing and selection of early-stage ventures across all of the sectors in which Village Capital operates. She was previously an entrepreneur herself, and spent time working with startups at Techstars Boston, and being a founding mentor at Startup Jamaica. Larry Flanagan Larry Flanagan is the president and CEO of AARP Services Inc. (ASI), a wholly owned subsidiary of AARP founded in 1999. AARP Services manages the wide range of products and services that are offered as benefits to AARP members. Flanagan had been president of New Tech Haven LLC, which he founded in January 2013. He was formerly executive dean at the University of New Haven College of Business. Flanagan is regarded as one of the most accomplished global marketing leaders in the country. Before his career in academia, he spent nearly three decades in corporate America as an executive at MasterCard Worldwide, the Procter & Gamble Co. and L’Oréal USA. Stash Graham Mr. Graham is the Managing Director of Regis Equity Partners, LLC. He also was Vice President of Investments with J.P. Turner and Company, LLC, until late October 2015. Mr. Graham is also President of SSA Holding Company, LLC, and the President of Graham Capital Wealth Management, LLC, a registered investment adviser formed under the laws of the State of Delaware (“Graham Capital Wealth Management”). Nareg Sagherian Nareg Sagherian is the Chief Commercialization Strategist, Policy Advisor and Senior Investment Officer from the Small Business Administration’s Office of Investment and Innovation (OII). His main focus involves growing commercialization opportunities within the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs, a research and development program that has awarded over $38 billion since inception in 1982, as well as program development within the Small Business Investment Companies program, a multi-billion-dollar fund-of-funds investment program created in 1958 to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs’ need for capital and traditional sources of financing. He is also the Program Director for the SBA’s Growth Accelerator Fund Competition housed within OII.
