Change Privacy Settings in Firefox - Browsing the internet
You can make the following modifications here:
History: Modify these settings if you don’t want people who access your computer to view your browsing history.
Cookies: Modify these settings to limit or block cookies (small files that track your online activity) from being downloaded to your computer. Use the Exceptions button to allow only certain sites to download cookies and the Show Cookies button to see what cookies currently reside on your computer.
Private Data: If you want to clear various private data, including saved passwords, browsing history and cookies when you exit Firefox, use these settings.
When you finish adjusting settings, click OK to save them.
If you simply can't wait and want to clear all your private settings right away instead of when you exit Firefox, open the Options dialog box (choose Tools@@-->Options), click the Privacy tab and click the Clear Now button.

Choose Tools@@-->Options. In the resulting Options dialog box, click the Privacy tab.You can make the following modifications here:
