General Honoré shares his emergency preparedness recommendations

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Lt. General Russel L. Honoré (U.S. Army, ret.) was called in to take charge of what had clearly been a failed government response to the catastrophe. Hailed for his organizational skills, and for stabilizing and improving a terrible situation, he learned one thing for certain. “Our country," he says, "must create a culture of preparedness.”

In an attempt to better prepare our government, communities, and citizens, General Honoré has written a clear and detailed road map called: "SURVIVAL: How a Culture of Preparedness Can Save You and Your Family From Disasters."
