Photojournalist Bruce Davidson’s stunning black-and-white images documented scenes from the 1960s civil rights movement led by Martin Luther King Jr. — from freedom marches and sit-ins to dilapidated schoolhouses and segregated movie theaters. (Many of those scenes are now highlighted at the in the nation's capital.)
