Donna Richardson Joyner is recognized as one of the top fitness gurus’ in the world. She is a former National Aerobics Championship silver medalist and is a member of the National Fitness Hall of Fame. She has starred in over 25 award winning videos including her recent Sweating in the Spirit series and the best selling Buns of Steel. In 2006, Donna was appointed by the president to serve on the Council for Physical Fitness and Sports and she was a delegate to the 2007 Pan American games held in Rio. She is the author of Let’s Get Real! and a guest columnist for Ebony and Gospel Today magazines. Donna is the producer and host of the Donna Richardson ’s Mind, Body & Spirit Show, which airs on TV One, and the Sweating in the Spirit program on the Word Network. Donna was the former co‐host for the ESPN Fitness Pro’s Show and fitness expert on the NBC Weekend Today Show. Donna has lectured and conducted seminars at schools, community centers, and universities in over 30 countries. She has been a featured speaker with: God’s Leading Ladies, Sisters in the Spirit, Pantene Total You, and with Tavis Smiley’s Eliminating Childhood Obesity Tour. She served on the Women’s Sports Foundation board of trustees and currently is an advisory board member for the Boys and Girls Club of America. Recently, Donna taught at Oprah’s private school for girls in South Africa. Additionally, she has just been appointed as a spokesperson for the LPGA. Donna broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s largest line dance with over 50,000 participants. Donna is the wife and soul mate of the #1 syndicated radio talk show host, Tom Joyner, who reaches more than 10 million listeners daily with his Tom Joyner Morning Show.
