Key findings include the following: Just over half (56%) of New Mexico small business owners express concern regarding their employees having enough money to retire.

Two in three (65%) New Mexico small business owners support legislation that would create a state retirement option.

Two in three small businesses in New Mexico say they are likely to offer employees access to a state retirement savings option if it's available. Interviews were conducted September 12-October 5, 2017. Respondents were offered a $5 check in appreciation for their participation.
