More than eight in ten (84%) agree that Tennessee lawmakers should support a state retirement savings option. About four in five (78%) small businesses in Tennessee say they do not offer a retirement savings plan.
Two in three (58%) say they are likely to offer employees access to a state retirement savings option if it were available. Interviews were conducted August 29-September 20, 2017. Sample, including owner names and companies, came from a Dun & Bradstreet business list. The margin of error for the sample of 450 for Tennessee is +/-4.6%.
