The majority of small business owners agree that Rhode Island lawmakers should support a plan to make it easier for small business owners to offer their employees a way to save for retirement.
Most Rhode Island small business owners agree that being able to offer a voluntary, portable retirement plan would help small businesses attract and retain quality employees and stay competitive. The AARP 2016 Rhode Island Small Business Owner Work and Save Study was a telephone study among 459 small business owners or decision makers about employee benefits at companies with 0-100 additional employees within the state of Rhode Island.
