Overview

The American Society on Aging (ASA) has 5,000 members across the spectrum of those interested in providing services for older adults, including businesses, non-profits and universities. The Society’s goal is to educate and train organizations on ways to “improve the quality of life of older adults and their families.” The ASA website stays true to this goal by providing webinars, articles and links on a variety of age-related topics.

Highlights include: The Education section offers training options, resources and links on the following topics: business, caregiving, community-based programs, creativity and lifelong learning, housing, accessibility and technology, LGBT aging, mental health, multicultural aging, physical health, policy and advocacy, religion and spirituality. One should note that LGBT and multicultural aging resources are also featured in the “Diversity” section.
